Santiago has wineries minutes from the city and others less than an hour away, in the Maipo Valley. All of them are visited on a tour with a tasting, and it's best to book. Here are four, with their tours, prices and how to get there, based on each winery's own information.
In the city: Cousiño Macul

Cousiño Macul is in Peñalolén (Av. Quilín 7100), inside Santiago. Its tours visit the cellar and the Jardín de Macul: the Traditional (CLP 25,000, about 1 hour), the Premium (CLP 40,000), a bike tour through the vineyard (CLP 37,500, adults 18+ only), the Sunset in spring and summer (CLP 45,000) and a vertical tasting (CLP 55,000). Book by email at reservas@cousinomacul.cl or at +56 2 2351 4110.
To the south: Santa Rita and Concha y Toro

Santa Rita is in Alto Jahuel, Buin. Its Classic Tour (CLP 31,000, about 1 hour) covers the vineyards and cellar with a tasting, and the Premium (CLP 55,000) adds the century-old park, the Roman baths and the chapel. Tours run in Spanish, English and Portuguese, and must be booked at least 24 hours ahead. Inside the estate is the Museo Andino, open Tuesday to Sunday 10:30 to 17:00, free and with no booking needed.
Concha y Toro, founded in 1883, welcomes visitors in Pirque. It offers a premium guided visit, the same visit with different tastings, and the Casillero del Diablo Night Experience with dinner. Prices, times and tickets are on its wine tourism website.

To the west: Undurraga
Undurraga, founded in 1885, is in Talagante, about 40 km from Santiago. The Sibaris Tour (CLP 29,500, about 1 hour, 4 wines) runs every day at 10:00, 11:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in Spanish, and at 10:00 and 15:00 in English. The Founders Tour (CLP 42,000) runs Monday to Saturday at 12:00, and there's a picnic among the vines for two (CLP 34,000). It's the easiest without a car: buses to Talagante leave from Estación Central and the San Borja bus terminal.
