Using the service

You can use Hediny without an account. To post events, comment, suggest corrections or save favorites to your account you need to sign in (with Google or an email link). Hediny is free for its users: it doesn't charge, sell tickets or bookings, or process payments.

Today's information and safety

Trail status, road closures, alerts, weather, air quality and ski runs come from official sources and from the resorts themselves, and may be delayed or change at any time. They help you plan; they don't replace those sources or your own judgment on the ground. Before heading out, always check the linked official source and actual conditions. Hediny isn't responsible for decisions made based on this information.

Places, hours and prices

Hours, prices and seasons for places, events and ski resorts are taken from their official websites and may change without notice. Confirm them with the place before you go. If you spot a mistake, you can suggest a correction from the page itself.

Editorial independence

What Hediny recommends is an editorial selection that can't be bought. If there are paid placements in the future, they will always be labeled. Safety information (trails, closures, alerts) is never sold and never depends on payment.

Content you post

• You're responsible for your events, comments and suggestions being real and accurate.
• Don't post spam or false, illegal or offensive content, or events or images you don't have the right to share.
• By posting, you allow Hediny to show that content on the site and share it on its channels (for example, social media).
• We may hide, edit or remove content that breaks these rules without notice. Anyone with an account can report a comment. There's a limit on posts per account.
• If you post the first event in a city Hediny doesn't cover yet, that city is created so other people can see your event.

Photos and third-party content

Hediny's photos are our own or freely licensed (for example, Creative Commons), and each one shows its author and license. Links to third-party sites (places' websites, bookings, shops) are provided as a convenience: Hediny doesn't control their content or terms.

No warranties

Hediny is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that all information (especially information posted by third parties) is accurate or complete, or that the service will always be available.

Your account

You can sign out and ask us to delete your account and data at any time by writing to info@hediny.com. See also our Privacy Policy.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll publish the new version on this page with its date.
