The trail
⚠️ Unofficial information: this route is not an official trail and is not maintained by Alberta Parks. Distance, elevation gain and route come from hikers' trip reports (bobspirko.ca, autumnsky.zenfolio.com) and may vary.
A minor summit above the Peaks of Grassi neighbourhood, with a head-on view of the Three Sisters and the whole Bow Valley. One trip report logs 7.7 km and about 800 m of cumulative gain: you go up the Highline Trail, then off-trail up a creek and a steep ridge.
There's a short scramble just below the summit. The route isn't marked: bring a map or GPS.
Getting there
From the Peaks of Grassi trailhead (800 Wilson Way, Canmore), via the Highline Trail access. Note: since September 13, 2026 Alberta Parks has closed the Highline east of the East Connector for fire-guard construction; the section heading west remains open. Check the advisories before you go.
