Whiteman's Pond

A pond at the foot of a big rock face, well sheltered from the wind, so its still water gives mirror-like reflections. Going around it you get a great view of the profile of Ha Ling.

It is on the Spray Lakes Road (Highway 742), a bumpy gravel road in Spray Valley Provincial Park. Just past the pond is the Goat Creek Day-use Area parking lot, which is also the Ha Ling trailhead. A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park in Kananaskis.
