⛷️ Ski resort📍 Santiago
Valle Nevado sits in the Andes, in the Lo Barnechea district. According to the resort it has 47 runs, 13 lifts and La Góndola, plus the Puerta del Sol, Tres Puntas and Valle Nevado hotels and Aconcagua Ski Residences. Through the interconnection you can ski over to La Parva; to get back you must cross before 4:00 pm.
Hours: lifts run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Season: the 2026 season opened on June 19. It usually runs from June to October; the resort announces its closing date on its website and Instagram.
Prices: day tickets use dynamic pricing (they change by date and demand) and are sold at store.vallenevado.com. They're loaded onto the Valle Plus card, which costs CLP 6,000. There's no half-day ticket. Kids and super seniors can ski free all season with the Americas Free Pass (Power Kids and Super Senior), paying only the CLP 15,000 issuing fee.
Getting there: drive up Route G-21 (the road to Farellones). In peak season the road has set hours: from June 19 to September 20, 2026, uphill only from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and downhill only from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Carry tire chains: the police require them. Check the road status in "Today in Santiago" before you go.
