Banff's traditional campground, 4.5 km from town, with mountain views, firepits and access to hiking and biking trails. It has drinking water, flush toilets, showers, a sewage disposal station and a public transit stop. Loop J has no fire rings.

2026 season: May 15 to October 5. The national park pass (CAD 12.25 per adult per day in 2026) and the fire permit (CAD 12 per day in the Banff area; CAD 17 at Lake Louise and on the Icefields Parkway) are extra, according to Parks Canada.
