Three Sisters Campground

The Alberta Parks campground closest to Canmore, on the Bow River, with firepits and a hand launch for non-motorized boats. Parking is outside the campground gates. Since August 2026 there's a bear warning for black bears seen inside the campground.

2026 season: April 30 to October 12. To park in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley you need the Kananaskis Conservation Pass (CAD 15 per day or CAD 90 per year per vehicle, according to the Government of Alberta). Firewood is sold at the campground.
