Where
Sunshine Village sits high on the Continental Divide, between Alberta and British Columbia. From the base parking lot, a gondola climbs to the village, home to the restaurants, the ski school and Sunshine Mountain Lodge, which the resort describes as Banff's only ski-in/ski-out hotel. According to its official report, it has 139 runs and 12 lifts spread over three mountains: Lookout, Standish and Goat's Eye.
Hours: the gondola runs from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and the chairlifts from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (hours published by the resort).
Season: the 2025/26 season opened on November 2 and closed on the May long weekend Monday, with the Slush Cup party. Sunshine hasn't announced its 2026/27 opening date yet.
Prices: the resort hasn't published 2026/27 day ticket prices yet; tickets are sold in its online shop (shop.skibanff.com). 2026/27 season passes are already on sale.
