Just steps from Main Street, Policeman’s Creek Boardwalk offers a peaceful break in the heart of Canmore. The wooden walkway crosses a wetland beside the creek, where birds are especially active in spring and summer and the Rocky Mountains frame the view.

You can include the boardwalk in an easy 1.24 km loop connecting downtown Canmore with Spring Creek. The walk takes about 15 to 30 minutes, making it a simple way to enjoy nature and take photos without leaving town.

Good to know: The boardwalk’s west entrance has stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. A paved, wheelchair-friendly path runs along the south side of the creek.
