About this place
It was built in the 1870s for the Cousiño-Goyenechea family, among the wealthiest in Chile at the time, and designed by French architect Paul Lathoud. It keeps salons, furniture and décor brought from Europe.
It's a National Monument run as a municipal museum: check visiting hours before you go. It's the main stop on a walk through the Dieciocho neighborhood.
