Opened in 2010, it honors the victims of human rights violations committed by the Chilean state between 1973 and 1990. Its galleries gather documents, testimonies, objects and audiovisual archives.

The building, a large copper-and-glass box, faces Parque Quinta Normal next to Quinta Normal Metro station. It's a visit that calls for time and calm.
