Where
Mt. Norquay sits just outside Banff, up Mt. Norquay Road, about 10 minutes from downtown: it's the ski resort closest to town. According to its official report it has 80 runs, plus a tube park and Cascade Lodge at the base.
Hours: lifts run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (the Rundle Carpet opens at 10:00). Night skiing on select Fridays and Saturdays: Cascade Chair from 5:00 to 9:00 pm and the tube park from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, until March 13, 2027.
Season: November 1, 2026 to April 18, 2027 (tentative dates, per the resort).
Prices: Norquay hasn't published 2026/27 prices yet (its page says "TBD"). Buying online saves up to 10%, and kids 5 and under ski free with an adult ticket.
