About this place
A big lake among mountains near the town of Banff, for hiking, picnics and time by the water. In winter, people cross-country ski, walk and snowshoe. The day-use area has washrooms, picnic tables and interpretive panels.
It is very popular and the parking lot fills in summer: Parks Canada recommends taking public transit. Before you go, check today's alerts for trail and campground closures.
