Lake Louise Campground (carpas)

The soft-sided section of the Lake Louise campground, in the forest by the Bow River, close to Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the start of the Icefields Parkway. Because of bear activity, all tents and units with soft sides must camp here, inside an electric fence. It takes units up to 7 m. There are fire and no-fire loops.

2026 season: May 29 to September 23. The national park pass (CAD 12.25 per adult per day in 2026) and the fire permit (CAD 12 per day in the Banff area; CAD 17 at Lake Louise and on the Icefields Parkway) are extra, according to Parks Canada.
