About this place
It was the station for trains to Valparaíso and the north. The building, opened in 1913 and designed by Emilio Jéquier, pairs a Beaux-Arts façade with a great iron-and-glass hall.
Since the 1990s it has been the Estación Mapocho Cultural Center, hosting exhibitions, concerts and fairs such as the Santiago International Book Fair.
