Crowfoot Glacier

A large roadside pullout to see one of the first glaciers on the way to Jasper. According to Parks Canada, a century ago the Crowfoot Glacier looked like a three-toed crow's foot; today one toe is gone, a visible sign of glacier retreat.

Across the road is the trailhead for Helen Lake and Dolomite Pass, and Bow Lake is a few kilometres north.

You need a national park pass to stop on the Icefields Parkway.
