About this place
The Skywalk is a glass-floored platform jutting out 280 m above the Sunwapta Valley, at the end of a one-kilometre interpretive walkway along the cliff edge. It's run by Pursuit, the same company as the glacier tour.
You can't drive there: the shuttle leaves from and returns to the Glacier Discovery Centre, across from the Athabasca Glacier. The 2026 season has ended; 2027 runs May 1 to October 11. Tickets start at CAD 32 according to its website, and kids 5 and under are free.
You need a national park pass to stop on the Icefields Parkway.
