Where
Bioparque Buinzoo is, according to its website, Chile's largest plant and animal conservation institution: over 2,000 animals of 250 species and 10,000 plants of more than 400 species, across 14 hectares to explore as a family. It also has two cactus gardens with cacti over 250 years old.
Hours: Tuesday to Friday 9:30 am to 5:00 pm; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 9:30 am to 6:00 pm; closed Mondays. Last entry one hour before closing.
Tickets (online only): adults 15 to 59 CLP 15,990; children over 90 cm up to age 14 CLP 13,990; seniors 60+ CLP 6,990; under 90 cm, free.
