About this place
One of Alberta's oldest museums, founded by Norman Luxton in 1953 and devoted to First Nations cultures. It is in a fort-style building on the banks of the Bow River, next to the recreation grounds.
In summer (May to September) it is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and in winter (October to April) 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
