Bow River Campground

A Bow Valley Provincial Park campground beside the Bow River, minutes east of Canmore. It has power and water sites (CAD 47) and walk-in tent sites (CAD 31), flush toilets, showers for a fee and secure food storage. Water from the hand pump is not safe to drink: bring your own.

2026 season: April 30 to October 12. To park in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley you need the Kananaskis Conservation Pass (CAD 15 per day or CAD 90 per year per vehicle, according to the Government of Alberta). Firewood is sold at the campground.
