Big Bend

The Big Bend is the hairpin turn the Icefields Parkway uses to climb toward Sunwapta Pass. From designated pullouts you see towering peaks, deep valleys and the road winding below.

At the top of the switchback, from a large unmarked pullout, a short walk leads to the Bridal Veil Falls viewpoint, a 370 m cascade on Cirrus Mountain. A little further north is the Parker Ridge trailhead.

You need a national park pass to stop on the Icefields Parkway.
