About this place
One of Jasper's most powerful waterfalls, where the Athabasca River thunders through a narrow gorge. Several short paved paths with viewpoints lead to stairs and a bridge over the river beside the falls, with views of the canyon and swirling turquoise water.
Parks Canada asks visitors to stay on designated trails and behind the railings: the rock beyond is slippery and dangerous.
You need a national park pass to stop on the Icefields Parkway.
